Hey Brett! The musicians compass is a wonderful and simple design. My new housemates and I have been using it for modal interchange and developing chord progressions from it. It also helps us fiddle with scales to play over them when we aren't too sure. It is definitely a useful tool whch fills a niche that may have only been filled by a confusing book beforehand.
